More cruise calls in Ensenada: the opportunity also lies ashore
Ship calls increased, but local benefit needs a broader reading.
Ensenada recorded 228 cruise calls in January–July 2026, compared with 200 a year earlier, according to DataTur figures covered in September, a 14% increase.
The municipality has described cruise visitors touring the Riviera and its historic spaces. That illustrates a connection between the port and cultural attractions, but does not by itself establish total passenger spending.
