A comparison of August records published in September reported four consecutive years of employment losses in Baja California’s manufacturing sector, emphasizing its share of the state’s formal jobs.
IMSS publishes employer-registered positions, with breakdowns by sector, employment type and business size. That describes jobs registered with the institute, not automatically everyone working in the economy.
