The border wall becomes a place to talk about peace

A collective artwork in Playas connects art, memory and border life.

Coverage: 1 min read

Enrique Chiu and volunteers worked on the wall near El Faro on September 20. A dove anchored the activity marking International Day of Peace, with migration and coexistence shaping its message.

ZETA documented Chiu’s border interventions since 2016 and reported that this activity refreshed a dove painted two years earlier. That continuity adds another dimension: a public artwork that people return to maintain.
