Drawing contest: the 2026 rules show a different theme
Checking the official source revealed a difference from August coverage.
Includes an editorial clarification
August coverage described a national contest about Day of the Dead figures and Mictlán, with a September 11 deadline. Further research found that the official 2026 tourism-culture call instead presents a football-and-tourism theme.
Sectur connects that edition with the World Cup and artistic and audiovisual expressions about sports tourism. We could not confirm that both references describe the same call, so we do not repeat the earlier deadline as current guidance.
